Sultan Peraks Birthday Today

It is the Adat (Custom/ Culture)  for Malaysian to utter the phrase Daulat Tuanku to a Sultan. It is rather difficult to translate, daulat originates from Hindi/Urdu infering the special position of the sultan that cannot be challenged. "Tuanku" consists of two words, tuan = master and ku=my,  means my master ". The Sultan of Perak is celebrating his birthday today 19 Apr 2013.

 I can not wait for the announcement of the recipients of the honors, I guess, it will be after the general election of 2 May. His Royal Paduka Seri Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah
